WeBuyAnyHouse.ng
Nigeria's fast-close cash property buyer — offer in 24hrs, close in 7 days.

Business Context
Nigeria's traditional property market suffers from slow transaction timelines, excessive agent fees, legal complexity, and lack of transparency. Many property owners — particularly those in distress situations (job relocation, debt, inheritance disputes, divorce) — need to liquidate property quickly but face a market that takes 6–18 months to complete a sale. WeBuyAnyHouse.ng saw an opportunity to offer a UK-proven cash buyer model adapted for the Nigerian market.
The Problem
The client needed a platform that could instantly communicate their unique value proposition (speed and certainty of sale), qualify seller leads efficiently, build trust with sellers who were skeptical of fast-cash buyers, and present the process in simple, reassuring steps. No comparable platform existed in Nigeria, so the design had to educate the market as well as convert.
Approach
I led the design and development process from discovery through launch, working through MUJTEKNIFY. We conducted competitor analysis of UK cash buyer platforms (the model this was adapting) and designed a Nigeria-specific conversion funnel. The primary challenge was trust: building credibility for a novel concept in a market with high fraud awareness. Every design decision prioritised reassurance, transparency, and clarity of process.
Technical Architecture
Built with Laravel and PHP on a MySQL backend with a custom lead management system. Figma was used for detailed design prototyping before a single line of code was written. The lead capture form uses a multi-step qualification flow that gathers property details progressively, reducing abandonment while collecting the data needed to generate an offer. Integrated with email automation for instant acknowledgement and follow-up sequences.
Key Features Built
- Multi-step property valuation request form with progressive disclosure
- 24-48 hour offer promise messaging with process timeline visualization
- Trust-building elements: testimonials, process steps, FAQs, company verification
- Mobile-first responsive design optimized for Nigerian smartphone users
- Lead management and automated email acknowledgment
- Property type and condition qualification flow
- WhatsApp integration for instant seller communication
- SEO optimization for Abuja property seller keywords
- Figma-designed UI/UX prototypes for desktop and mobile
Challenges Solved
- Created a trust architecture for a novel, skepticism-prone concept in the Nigerian market
- Designed a qualification funnel that captures critical data without overwhelming sellers
- Adapted a UK cash buyer model to fit Nigerian property law and market dynamics
- Built for the Nigerian mobile-first browsing reality without sacrificing the premium feel needed to inspire property seller confidence
Outcome & Impact
WeBuyAnyHouse.ng launched as the first dedicated cash property buyer platform in Abuja, establishing the client as a pioneer in Nigerian PropTech. The platform generates inbound seller leads and has positioned the business for growth in a largely untapped market segment.
Lessons Learned
Introducing a new business model into a skeptical market means the platform has to do two jobs at once: educate and convert. I learned that trust architecture in real estate is not the same as conversion architecture. Trust-building comes first: process transparency, company legitimacy signals, and clear legal framing. Only after a seller believes you are genuine will they fill in a form. This project sharpened my ability to design lead generation systems that respect the psychology of high-value, infrequent decisions.
